Anytime Turkey Tenders

Did you know that a typical turkey contains about 70% white meat and 30% dark? White meat is a heart-healthy food that contains less fat and calories than dark meat. Anytime Turkey Tenders are the perfect way to enjoy white meat for dinner!

What You'll Need

  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless turkey breast, cut into 1-inch x 2-inch strips
  • 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup dry red wine
  • 2 teaspoons browning and seasoning sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

What to Do

  1. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the turkey, and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Add the onions, mushrooms, and garlic, and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the onions are tender.

  2. Reduce the heat to low and add the remaining ingredients. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until heated through, stirring frequently. Serve immediately.
