They won't believe that this amazingly delicious deli salad is actually made with cauliflower! In fact, this Cauliflower Salad sort of tastes like a faux, loaded potato salad. Make this anytime you've got a group of folks to impress!

Why boil the cauliflower and dump most of the vitamins down the drain ? Steaming it is much better and I think it tastes better, has better texture and it's still full of vitamins.

Hello! You can steam, blanch, or boil the cauliflower in this recipe. It's really a matter of personal preference. Hope this was helpful!

This looks like a great, tasty salad for these hot summer days. I do prefer raw cauliflower to cooked, so do you think it could be made with raw cauliflower? It would definitely add a bit more crunch! And any time I don't have to turn the stove on in the summer, I am a happy girl!

Hi there! The Test Kitchen thinks that raw cauliflower would be very crunchy, so we suggest that you par-cook (boil, blanch or microwave) the cauliflower. ) Enjoy!

Why the "low fat" crap? If it says low fat its usually got something bad added -like sugar or some other extra carbs. Fat is not bad, but too many carbs are.

I'm not a big fan of cauliflower, but I did like this salad. I wanted something different than the broccoli salad I always make, and this was good. The dressing is tasty even though lte mayo is used. Also, I use a trick my mom taught me-I pull the tough outer strings off the celery by grabbing the strings at the cut edge between my finger and paring knife and pull down.

This has a good dressing. My kids said it tasted like a pasta salad. I will use this recipe at summer camp this year leaving out the bacon bits. It will be perfect for those that are on a gluten free diet.

I would use LeSeur early peas in the can instead of the frozen ones. They are so much more tender and sweet.
