The spicy-sweet flavor and tender texture of Jamaican Jerk Chicken will make this flavor-packed recipe a crowd-pleasing hit any night of the week! It's a great change of pace from the ordinary weeknight meals! It's a fun, bold way to enjoy dinner, and we know the family is going to agree!

What You'll Need

  • 2 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (1 pound), lightly pounded and cut into 12 strips
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

What to Do

  1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the allspice, thyme, cinnamon, garlic powder, ground red pepper, and salt; mix well.
  2. Place the chicken strips in the spice mixture; shake bag until chicken is evenly coated. 
  3. In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, heat oil until hot. Cook chicken strips 3 to 4 minutes per side or until no pink remains. Serve immediately.
