Packed with zesty Mexican-style flavor, these easy tortilla rollups slice up to be awesome, good-for-you party appetizers, and nobody will know they are healthy snacks, either!
What You'll Need
1 (8-ounce) tub reduced-fat whipped cream cheese spread
2 tablespoons thick non-chunky salsa
2 1/2
teaspoons chili powder, divided
1/2
teaspoon cumin
3 tablespoons finely chopped green onions with tops, divided
8 (8-inch) low carb whole wheat tortillas, warmed
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
What to Do
Beat cream cheese, salsa, 2 teaspoons chili powder and 2 tablespoons green onions and cilantro. Spread 1/4 cup on each warmed tortilla, covering to edges.
Roll filled tortillas tightly and slice each tortilla into 4 bites. Secure bites with toothpicks.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for flavors to blend. Arrange on serving plate and garnish with 1/2 teaspoon chili powder and 1 tablespoon chopped green onions.
Notes
Serve with extra salsa. For easy rolling, use regular 8-inch flour tortillas.
